King Water / NW Natural Water manually reads PLWA’s water meters quarterly. 
Members can expect King Water / NW Natural Water employees to come onto their property to read the PLWA water meters at the:
- End of of March / Beginning of April time frame
- End of June / Beginning of July time frame
- End of September / Beginning of October time frame
- End of December / Beginning of January time frame
King Water / NW Natural Water employees will be on the premises for a very short time to read the water meter. Members should not expect King Water employees to knock on their door or to seek permission to read the water meter.

“Authorized personnel of a water company have the right to enter a customer’s property during reasonable hours to perform meter reading, maintenance, testing, installation or removal of the company’s property. Customers may ask to see the identification of the water company personnel before allowing entry to the customer’s property.”
